What are different types of Wedding Marquee options?

So, if you have finally decided to arrange your wedding party at any outdoor venue like a garden, ground of a local historic house or simply the field of a local farmer, you are likely to hire a marquee. And as it comes to wedding marquee hire in Surrey, the options are plenty so you can choose one as per the style and size of the wedding.  If you have already had your wedding theme, you may choose the marquee accordingly. Or else, choose the marquee as the starting point and then plan the theme from there.

Here are some prominent wedding marquee options for you.
  • Framed marquees – Though it is not one of the most expensive options, it is worth every penny in case you want a luxurious and glamorous setting for your D day. Such marquees are built on robust metal frame along with hard floor and structured walls equipped with windows. Lighting, air conditioning and heating – all are integrated into the marquee design. This type of marquee hire is just perfect for large guest lists. They are ideal if the wedding is planned during winter months while there is greater chance of rain or in mid-summer while you may want your guests to stay comfortable and cool. Framed marquees are big enough to section off different parts with the use of additional wall. You can section off a dining area, a bar and a dance floor. If you can arrange for a huge outdoor space, framed marquees would be the right option for you.
  • Indian or Bedouin tents – Bedouin or Indian tent structures largely depend on its frame. It might be a canopy or an open pavilion. The key thing that makes it different from others is its interior décor which is utmost luxurious and truly exotic. They are designed in rich colours while being draped in sumptuous Indian or Morocco fabrics across walls and ceiling. Such tents are perfect for any outdoor wedding where you look for an unusual alternative to traditional marquee. They are also suitable for winter weddings where your aim is to create a cozy and warm ambience. Since the interior of such tents are themed in dark colours, they go fine for evening weddings. Bedouin marquees are not equipped with furniture making it clumsy. Just low tables for serving food and cushioned areas on the floor are good enough for Indian tents.
  • Tepee style marquees – These are tents built on tripod pole arrangements along with exposed beams and interior guy ropes. Small Indian and cowboy style tepees would be ideal for an additional shelter for drinks reception outdoor. However, Kata marquees will be best for a full outdoor wedding. Tepee marquees are less formal than traditional or framed marquees. But they ensure a real talking point. Tepee marquees go fine for Western themed marquees, but they can be used for informal summer barbeque and beach weddings as well.
These are a just a few marquee options that you can explore to make your wedding day a special and memorable one.
